Websites that start with your story.

I'm a freelance dev and designer who listens before I sketch. For small businesses with big hearts.

Most websites skip the part that matters most.

Your business has a personality. A reason it exists. A feeling you want people to walk away with. Most designers jump straight to fonts and colours — I start somewhere else entirely.

I start with a conversation. Sometimes two or three. I want to understand what makes your business different before I open a single design tool.

That's what most websites miss: the story. They have the features — the gallery, the booking form, the social links — but they feel like they could belong to anyone.

Yours shouldn't. It should feel unmistakably like you. That's the part I care about most.

How I work.

01

Listen

We start with a real conversation — no briefs, no forms. Just you telling me about your business, your people, and what keeps you up at night.

02

Translate

I take everything I heard and turn it into a design language: a palette, a set of typefaces, a visual mood that feels like you — only cleaner.

03

Build

I build the site by hand — no drag-and-drop templates. Every page is made to load fast, look beautiful on any device, and actually convert visitors.

A few projects, hand-built.

Maple & Rye Bakery

A neighbourhood bakery that needed a site as warm as their sourdough. We built something that smells good, somehow.

Wren & Willow Florist

Floristry is seasonal, emotional, and deeply personal. The site needed to reflect all three. It does now.

Let's start with your story.

Tell me a bit about you and your business. There are no right or wrong answers — just be honest and I'll take it from there.

P.S. — there are no wrong answers.
